This full size, 58 inch, ¾ jointed cue is crafted by Peradon in England from kiln dried, North American Ash and exotic Ebony. The Ash is carefully selected for strength and straightness before being turned and machine spliced to the finest Ebony butt timber. A Kingwood front splice and Sycamore veneer is then spliced to the butt section to further enhance the appearance. The cue is then turned to its final tapered finish before the numerous sanding and finishing processes are undertaken to achieve a 'silk smooth' finish. To eliminate joint problems the two sections of the 'quick action' joint are each precision turned from a single piece of solid brass and precisely fitted 12” from the butt end to give the shaft length of 46”. The butt is finished with a Peradon Ascot name disc and 'quick action' butt end joint to accept the ebonised 6” mini butt supplied with this cue. For additional extension options please view the 'related products' section of this page. This cue features a solid brass ferrule and 9 ½ to 10mm Elkmaster tip.
PRODUCT SPECS:
Peradon cues are crafted from hand selected, kiln dried timbers. All cues feature polished brass ferrules and 9 1/2 mm Blue Diamond Tips. Every cue undergoes numerous finishing processes to achieve a unique 'silk smooth' cue shaft. This is complimented by a traditional shaped butt finished with a leather butt pad.
* The quality of the ash shaft is of the utmost importance when crafting a cue. Shafts are extensively selected with only a small percentage of the pieces processed making the grade for production of these cues. In order to maintain the highest standards of selection Peradon purchase more ash than any other English cue makers. For the highest quality hand spliced cues such as this the selection process is even more rigorous.
